About these terms

These terms apply when you use Crosstie Assessment at crosstieassessment.com, run by Crosstie Solutions Limited, 7th Floor, Mulliner Towers, 39 Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, taking an assessment or otherwise using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

If you accept these terms for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes the organisation. If your organisation has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement takes priority where the two differ.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.

Accounts

  • Individual accounts are for one person taking assessments for themselves.
  • Organisation accounts are for an organisation running assessments for its people.
  • Invited participants take an assessment through a personal invitation and do not need an account.

You sign in with a code we email to you. Keep access to your email secure, give accurate details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at support@crosstieassessment.com if you think someone else has used it.

Assessments, plans and prices

  • Persona IQ is ₦10,000 per person.
  • Lead IQ is ₦15,000 per person.
  • OrgPulse and CulturePulse are sold in plans by number of participants and assessment window, as shown when you start one.

Prices are in naira and exclude any taxes that apply. While a launch offer is shown, the assessments it covers are free. When payment opens, the price shown at the time you start or add people is the price that applies, and further payment terms will be shown before you pay.

A plan sets how many people can take part and for how long. Some plans allow the window to be extended, as shown on the dashboard.

If you run assessments for an organisation

You agree to:

  • invite only people you are entitled to invite, using their correct names and email addresses;
  • tell them, before they take part, why the assessment is being run and who will see the results;
  • have a lawful basis under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 for asking them to take part;
  • keep reports confidential and share them only with people who need them;
  • use results fairly, and not make decisions about anyone’s employment on a result alone;
  • respect the anonymity of OrgPulse and CulturePulse, and not try to work out who gave which answer.

If you are invited

Your invitation is personal. Do not forward it. Your organisation entered your name and email; if they are wrong, ask your organisation to correct them.

Answer honestly; there are no right or wrong answers. Whether your answers are anonymous, or your results carry your name, is stated on the invitation and explained in our Privacy Policy.

What results are, and are not

Our assessments describe preferences, styles and perceptions at the time they were taken. They support reflection, development and conversation. They are not a clinical or psychological diagnosis, a measure of ability or intelligence, or a prediction of performance.

Reports are produced automatically from answers by fixed rules. They depend on honest answers and, for OrgPulse and CulturePulse, on enough people taking part.

Using the platform properly

You must not:

  • copy, resell or publish the questions, scoring or report content, other than sharing your own style image from your result page;
  • try to reach information you are not entitled to, or get around limits or security;
  • submit answers on someone else’s behalf, or use invitations that were not sent to you;
  • use automated tools to access the platform, or disrupt it;
  • use the platform for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading.

Who owns what

The assessments, their questions, scoring, report content and design, the Crosstie 7C Framework, and the names and logos of Crosstie Assessment and its tools belong to Crosstie Solutions Limited or its licensors.

You may use your reports for your own purposes or, for an organisation, inside the organisation. Your information remains yours; you allow us to use it only to provide and improve the platform, as the Privacy Policy explains.

If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything for them.

Other services

The platform relies on trusted providers for hosting, storage and email, described in our Privacy Policy. Pages may link to other websites, which have their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

Availability and changes to the platform

We work to keep the platform available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you have paid for, we will tell you and offer a fair remedy.

Closing an account

You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@crosstieassessment.com.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is used unlawfully. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

What we promise, and what we do not

We provide the platform with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, it is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that results will suit a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not allow to be limited.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity;
  • we are not liable for decisions you or an organisation make using results;
  • our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Organisation responsibility

An organisation is responsible for its use of the platform and of results, including having a lawful basis to invite its people. It agrees to cover our reasonable costs from claims that arise because it broke these terms or the law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you by discussion. If that fails, the courts of Lagos State will have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you by email or on the platform before it takes effect. Using the platform after that means you accept the updated terms.
